spoke to CIO of Alan Gray . The stock was inherited years ago when they took over another fund . The holdings is less than 12 basis points of the fund and thus too small to allocate research time too.
the SP pressure is simply AG selling , and to offset this a number of new boutiques funds entering . This is one of these situations described in Seth klarmans book margin of safety where an insto exiting creates a big opportunity.
No doubt aVG currently trading at less than 25% of NTA presents massive margin of safety
