After urgings by NATO countries and a visit by UK clown Boris Johnson in early 2022, Zelensky chose to reject a series of peace agreements with Russia.

in short, the Ukrainian leader chose the deaths of hundreds of thousands of combatants and the destruction of much of the built environment particularly in eastern Ukraine over peace with its neighbor.

this has been discussed at length in these thread. As per usual, the warmongers and hairy chested heroes who are fighting to the last Ukrainian refuse to believe anything negative of Zelensky, even denying that the war is of a proxy nature on behalf of NATO, er the US.

the latest report of the diplomatic stumblings of Zelensky that have laid waste to his country come via the New York Times, a fully authorized propaganda outlet for the Washington War Party.

here's the start of a report in today's Pearls & Irritations, John Menadue's public policy journal, written by former diplomat and academic Gregory Clark.

    PEARLS & IRRITATIONS:

"NYT confirms war-ending Russian-Ukraine peace agreement sabotaged by West."

"With much less drama than its famous 1971 Pentagon Papers, the New York Times has disclosed three documents confirming that Russia and Ukraine were close to war-ending agreements in the first half of 2022, shortly after Moscow began its so-called ‘special operation’ attack on Ukraine, February 24, 2022.

"The newspaper says it has obtained and verified three documents – draft versions of peace agreements negotiated by Moscow and Kiev in the first months of the Ukraine conflict."

    (The report continues at johnmenadue.com)

the horror and disaster of Ukraine is what happens when a comedian and a clown are left to run diplomacy.

oh, one more point, the rise in support for parties on the extreme right in Europe follows the rejection of the warmongering policies of centrist govts, such as in France and Germany.

Understandably, Ordinary citizens in Europe don't like how centrist govts spend billions on a war in Ukraine instead of looking after their own.
