    It appears that Jesus as he often did, was drawing upon Deu 18:18 with John 12:49.

    I will raise them up a prophet;
    Raising -> Luke 2:40, 52 - And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.
    And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

    2 Sam 7:13, 14 - He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
    I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

    John 18:36 - Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”

    House, Jesus is the Rock, cornerstone of this house, to which we are to build upon as living stones.
    And when the last enemy (death) is destroyed, then Jesus hands over this Kingdom to the Father and is then subject to the one (Father) that put all things under him.

    Some say that Sam is not referring to Jesus = Show me someone else that created a Kingdom that is forever, ongoing.
