Yes that was interesting viewing particularly the part on ‘Red Flags in Rare Earth’. The guest mentions when looking a TREO, we should be looking a TREO less Cerium. Says that Cerium and Lanthanum aren’t really worth anything and basically implies that high percentages of these are not good. Not having any technical knowledge what so ever, I went over to have a look at some of the drilling intersection results and from my limited understanding we have reasonably high percentages of both. Is this a problem?
He also mentions that in ionic clay you have a negative cerium anomaly where the cerium is really low. Based on results that I can see, that would infer that the clay in not ionic. I also had a quick look at a couple of other rare earth miners and they don’t seem to have included the cerium levels in their results so it’s not really possible to compare. Can anybody knowledgeable posters shed any light on this? Is this something to be concerned about?
