What you do is irrelevant. The Australian market insignificant in the global scheme of things. VW has just committed 5 billion dollars to struggling EV truck manufacturer Rivian. Chinese EVs will flood global markets forcing continued price reductions. Unlike the US and Europe, with zero vehicle manufacturing in agrarian Australia (shout out to our broken record Zara here), no incentives for government to stop the flood of cheap Chinese EVs.
