From today's WA1 announcement simplified Luni geology on magnetics.
Light blue envelope is mainly carbonatite.
Surrounded by a complex zone of mixed lithologies out to the white dashed line. Comprised of carbonatite dykes, syenite intrusives and various altered silicate rocks. Rapid variations and grades less than in carbonatite except locally.
The outer margin is fenite alteration. Not certain how this is defined ad very limited to no drilling obvious. Inclined drilling may be helpful locally.
Purple unit is phoscorite - a weird lithology with high apatite (phosphate mineral) and only for specialists I suspect.
Grade concentrated in carbonatite and decreases outward.
Take aways for ENR? No real improvement on previous ideas.
Trends towards Green and Emily but interpreted to be closed off to NW and NE. This interpretation is partially based on the WA1 gravity which has not been extended/reported in the east of Luni. ENR falcon gravity does not give an equivalent Luni high at Green or Emily but significant carbonatite at Emily with some good grades. Dykes? Different phase of Carbonatite with a lower gravity signature?? Grasping at straws.
Aircore drilling will give some hints one way or the other.
