My personal suspicion is that are taking a moment to slow down and make sure they take the time to get things right and make the right decisions.
With the Chinese pumping the market they need to make sure that they have a significant point of difference like they have had the the past. However unlike the past they are playing from behind now and a monumental f up now like mass recall due to faulty batteries could in the long run destroy a company.
