thought id share this reply i got from Ben today.. No mention of new project oor funding though!1 but give me time..lol
George,
I have just returned from WA this morning - after having received a firsthand exploration update from my Chief Geologist and Chief Operating Officer - both men experts in Gold and PGM Geology. I am really confident leading into the next phase of VTEM and drilling.
ON the sharemarket - I am told there could be a few reasons why people are buying.
1) Technically speaking the stock may be seen as oversold and in an uptrend according to chart/technical analysis
2) AUC - Ausgold Ltd - recently intersected very significant Nickel and Copper from within a few hundred metres of GNI's Mt Cornell phase 2 exploration targets.
3) The market is awake to the fact that GNI is about to get on the MT Venn project and run VTEM and drilling - Importantly Copper and Nickel were assayed at Mt Venn by past owners - ASX companies Tasminex Resources and Helix Rsources - so we know that there is definitely nickel and copper sulphide there.(no if buts or maybes - its definite). It's our job to go over these past areas, and do follow up work and find out how much is there and how viable it is
Things are getting exciting again.
cheers!
