Yes we are all anxious or curious about the progress by Punaminining/Argosys.
I have a lot riding here but I have adjusted to the situation and I sleep very well and if this helps anyone I will try to elaborate.
As some have alluded, they are very busy, it has been reported that they are employing more staff and purchased additional tenements. This would not happen if they were not progressing and developing further.
Sure, we haven’t heard anything in the last month or so about increase output or progress with the commissioning and this as frustrating as it can be normal for such acomplicated process. We have been advised about the filtering problems and I would not be surprised if they had different filter materials tested as I have mentioned before, this could be a process of elimination for a while until the most suitable solution is found.
Added to this you have the chemical mix and process which need adjusted each time they restart after changing or modifying the output or pressure of a pump, I cannot even begin to think about adjusting the software to facilitate this process as the final product has to be right on. Just imagine you have a temperature probe or level sensor which does not work properly (faulty) and yes there is another restart and before that you have to go through it all with all the technical staff involved.
I remember a post few months ago leading to the 10’000 tpa. Expansion approval which was translated to English from a Puna presentation to the local authority and it was then mentioned of an end of year likely timing for the 2000 tpa. targeted production. I can’t remember the exact wording but this to me explains the luck of feedback and the problem for Jerko to come out with info when it is hard to quantify what really is happening.
As far I am concerned, we have the process, we have enough of the rough material, have a growing business, have enough finance, maybe a bit close but nothing to be concerned about, no luck required from here just patience!
