AGY consistently released monthly updates until August 2023. When I emailed JZ to ask why there was no update that month, he replied that there was no new or material information to report, so there wouldn't be a release (see below). At the time, I thought he was moving away from the monthly update routine. In hindsight, it was clear that July marked the beginning of the filtration issues, and they skipped the August update because they didn't want to disclose the problem until they had a solution, which they announced in September. Once they believed everything was resolved, they resumed monthly reporting, missing only the January 2024 update, likely because the MRE upgrade wasn't ready early in the month and it was already overdue.

It seems clear to me that AGY sticks to monthly progress reporting and rarely misses an update unless there are problems. We won't know for sure until the quarterly report at the end of this month, but the silence has my spidey senses tingling. As others (and JZ himself) have noted, if AGY had material information to share, such as positive production news, they would be sharing it.

I don't think the omission of a June update is a good sign.
