1. I spoke to Company Secretary this afternoon.

There will NOT be a formal mechanism to put prospective buyers and sellers together.

However, he did say that if they hear of a buyer and seller, they might be able to put them together as a courtesy, but this is no guarantee at all.

I would imagine that BOD may be buyers/sellers from time to time.

He did say that if you find your own buyer/seller, etc. than you can do a deal with the other party; so, if you want to sell them to your brother-in-law, then you can do so and arrange to transfer them accordingly.

2. I did a bit of googling this afternoon and searched for unlisted public companies. There are some interesting articles on web and one or two by Aussie Financial Review.

I came across one unlisted company that still has a forum on Hot copper. AVZ Minerals AVZ

Obviously their reasons for delisting are different.
