LTR is currently in a trading halt. Their share price has dropped 70% this year, their debt is $550 million, and they are not producing income. Lots of lithium in the ground, but unable to harvest and sell it. Albermarle would have rescued them but moved on when the bargaining became too fierce. Gina has been burned too, trying to cash in, but she has deep enough pockets to just move on. Their site is handy enough to PLS for them to mop up eventually at firesale prices, and extend the PLS life of mine beyond my lifetime. Remember the story about the old bull and the young bull. Young bull says "let's charge down and score a few heifers". Old bull says "Nah, let's wait a while, then wander down to score the whole herd".
