I love this business. Two tier one assets, run by a proven, competent operational management, which, as you say, is currently reinvesting(bengalla)/investing(na3) into those very assets at a reasonable rate of return while returning some excess capital to share holders. Extremely rare.
However what proof have any of us to say this same coal mining and mining financial management team have to any level of competence at broader financial market investing in undisclosed entities?
I'd rather the excess excess capital to be used reinvesting in this beautiful business, or sans that option, in my hungry wallet. Just greedy I guess.
But aren't all wallets greedy? I thought that's why we do this.
