Say there are 2 qualified medical experts
@EyeoftheTiger. Expert A and Expert B . They are providing advice on covid vaccines. You do not know what each expert says. Based upon the information I just wrote, you need to make a decision which experts advice to follow. Which one did you choose and why?
Remember both are deemed experts in their field.
Many of us could not actually make a decision as really all we have is A or B , no other information in which to formulate an opinion.
The next logical step is to then find out what Expert A says and Expert B says.
So now we have something... however its only their own statements (as experts) Still not enough information.
That is why many want to know , read up on what BOTH experts say. It cannot give an absolute answer as to who we choose but better than just an A or B choice.
Debate is healthy, as in most situations experts A or B are never 100% right in everything. So balance is important.
Some of us like to also research deeper into motivation and real or perceived conflicts which may taint what is being said. That is when additional complexities come into it.
I know for many the turning point was when things were revealed after the fact that now in hindsight were completely untrue. That mistrust builds mistrust . As time goes on, more and more is being revealed that factually demonstrate that all that we were led to beleive was inaccurate and in some cases blatant cover ups and lies.
Everything should be open and transparant , it wasnt and still isnt.. Why is that the case if nothing to hide?
