I hear you!
I see many old yesteryear Aussie made Holdens and Fords still running around.
Some of these cars are 50+ years old, and most likely treated with lots of love.
It would take three, four, or perhaps five EVs to last over the same period.
Considering an EV produces more greenhouse gas emissions in it's manufacture, how is that good for the environment?
It aint.
Society has been conditioned over recent years to accept that Chinese made junk will need replacing sooner than later.
Talk of these second (third?) generation "cheap EVs" will only demote them down to being a consumable item.
And that mentality aint good for the environment either.
