Im sorry Grant but I think this is total exageration. The culture from what I have read about Groote has seen its fair share of problems with alcohol, drugs, petrol sniffing, and violence. I mean that with respect. I would think these things are far more damaging to culture than GR could ever be.

Do you really believe that the dredging did not disrupt the original sea floor? I think sometimes we believe what suits our means or cause. Besides it would more likely been to deepen the port due to silt build up etc

Good luck with that I dont think any government is in a rush to set a precedence and extend rights to TO's over the ocean/sea. The wealth of this country would be adversely effected.
