    Australia bathes in a bliss that it's almost untouched by war on it's soil - barring some bombing in WW2, but minor in the scale of things.

    Australians in general are oblivious to war risk because of the perception of safety in distance and just not much history of it

    there are two things to note as people go about their happy lives in a developed country -

    1. Distance isn't the protector it once was - missiles reach all over the world easily now and

    2. Learn from something in the past as we spend time having fun in winter and summer on the beaches or at the club -
