A total stranger asked me 9 years ago if I knew anything about investing. I told him I had a degrees in finance and mathematics but that I was a poor surfer and snowboarder and had spent my money pursuing those hobbies. He asked me to look at FBR and I was blown away. I went to my bank and opened a share account the next day.!!
