I have a 10yo mobile phone forced on me by my family for emergency purposes I detest the damn thing as it interrupts a generally sedate and quiet lifestyle. I consider them to be a toy for idle minds, people wandering around looking down and not where they are going?
That phone by the way was that old I asked the local government services to install a QR thingo, is that the tracking app you refer to? - they tried, they gave up and said the phone was too old? So I just ignored the places that wanted some type of entry pass. I still have that phone and it can still make a phone call and an occasional txt when I feel the need.
There was many a place that ignored the 'mandates' so I took my business there instead.
Don't expect life to be handed to you on a golden platter, sometimes you have make an effort to find the life you desire.
