Now he is claiming he has immunity from prosecution, rather than face a trial and getting a not guilty verdict he is claiming he has immunity. So begs the question why claim immunity if no crime was committed?

Except he has, he tried to over turn the result of the election and prevent the peaceful transfer of power. He has been indicted for that and is claiming he is immune from being prosecuted for that.
Lets say Biden loses the election, refuses to accept the result and gets Harris to count some fake EC votes. should he be immune from being prosecuted for that?
