IMO some insto or instos selling given the volume. It reminds me of what happened with Whitehaven Coal and now the market has realised that WHC made a good deal.
My understanding is that if the notes are exercised it is equivalent to having made a new issue at $6.80 and NHC keeps 25% of the cash received now. However, better still, through the call options shareholders are not diluted!
The money raised may only be providing an interest return now but opportunities will arise to enable a better return to be achieved eg Malabar or Queensland met coal mines.
