Going to say i 'dont' agree with breaking up the two big supermarkets but i do agree punishment for dodgy behaviour should be much harsher
Littleproud was on the other day saying the maximum fine Coles/Woolworth can get is just over 100k that is essentially like fining the common man 50cents they want to bump the fine max to $2m which i agree with the supermarkets should not be able to bully small businesses farmers etc
but i dont agree they should be broken up - for all the uproar coles and woolworth have a sub 3% profit margin that is 'hardly' price gouging
going to say i dont support Dutton on this but ALP sitting on their hands is also unacceptable - this is going to kill me for saying this but the Greens deserve credit for pushing this but breaking them up is 'not the answer' but leaving the statue quo is also not right
but overall i side with a free market
