I thought they may raise more at a higher price via CNotes or the like but in the end Simon thought the shareholders deserved the lowest entry price. I understand the book build for the placement is already full. Gone in 15 minutes! I applied for stock in the placement and was told to expect a massive scale back so I bid for five times what I wanted.
Then we also get to increase our exposure to this solid story at an even better discount in the rights issue.
I doubt this will even trade below the placement price even allowing for some selling to pay for the rights.
