Until its maiden voyage, the Titanic was one of the largest and most luxurious passenger ship of its time. It had the wrong captain. That captain ignored the finer details around weather conditions. Those fine details caused the ship to flounder as it took on too much water and flotation (pun intended) became a problem.
It could be said that SB also ignored the finer details around fines. It could also be said that Core took on too much water in Grants pit. Flotation is also a problem for Core - how to fund it. In Core's case that water can be pumped out and flotation may be part of the solution to a successful future. Core hasn't sunk and can be recovered with the right captain. With Darwin's climate, its lack of ice not too much ice that is a problem.
Time will tell if Mr Brown is the captain to steer Core into safer waters, or whether Core will continue drifting and hit the rocks.
