You blind GREENALP loons can't see the forest for the trees.sneaky.png

You really are quite dumb, or perhaps more likely purposely stupid.rolleyes.png

The entire developed and developing world is moving towards nuclear power and our single focused and dangerous government policy is to focus exclusively on the sun and the wind.eek.png

The world wants to triple the use of nuclear power generation and is currently moving in that direction while poor little Australia has been hypnotised by the AGW catastrophists and their master hypnotist, the mad man Bowen.

For your education, nuclear is not proposed to produce 100% of Australia's electricity, just the crucial reliable proportion.

Any scholar knows that renewables can contribute a high percentage of electricity either when the sun shines, the batteries don't suffer over use in peak periods and that the wind blows. The fact that all of the renewables have a relatively short life span when compared to nuclear reactors (up to 100yrs for the new ones).
Therefore, any scholar also appreciates that any comparison is moot when repairs and replacement costs are assessed for renewables over a short period v nuclear.

In essence therefore, it is my contention, based upon listening to many experts on the subject (not those who purport to be experts on HC) and reading a significant amount of academic contributions to the nuclear debate, that it is inevitable that Australia will definitely develop a nuclear industry in time. The provision of 24/7 365 power generation, to supplement other forms of power such as renewables is critical for the survival of a viable economy.wink.png

Watch a learn from the next video which will provide some enlightenment for you regarding modern developing nuclear technology.
