    ''Bit late now.''

way way way way too late now ---------- decades

it's crystal clear in Australia ---------- Labor have been changing for decades - the process has probably still got a ways to go

the Liberal Party - have not ever changed - they just stood rocklike when they should have been changing - in the Howard era

they had a tiny dabble with Turnbull - failed dismally

    they IMO ------------ CAN'T change.

the ONLY way that conservatives can change is to move left or to move right

they can't move left ----- there's no space

if they move right - then, they become far right ------ the glaring example of that is Trumpism

basically they can't change now - they are snookered

could they have changed back in the Howard era where labor did change?

I think they could have - but, it's a pointless argument because history is history and we can't rewind

now - the era has totally changed, and things are moving fast - politics will evolve - but, in it's evolution - it will be thrown around in a wild ocean of technological and massive social change

and one thing is dead certain - there's going to be no room for conservative principles - not a snowballs chance in hell

capitalism will have a very difficult time to survive - indeed many think it's already dead too -------------- but, conservatism -------- pfffffffffffffffffffffffft, gone with the dinosaurs already - all we are seeing is the rotting corpse
