My point is that the United States collects no royalties from Australian miners, because that's the way the mining laws were written in 1872. Meanwhile, BLM does collect grazing fees from the Hualapai and other ranchers, on the land around Wikieup that AZL wants to dig up. So mining would be an economic loss to American taxpayers.
My understanding is that the American miner, Albemarle, must pay royalties to WA on what it mines at Wodgina and Greenbushes. Correct me if I'm wrong.
