Here's a scenario why the options question is important for holders and BPH, and why DB's refusal to comment on them is important also. An option holder loses confidence in the company due to lack of clarity and comment regarding options and sells out at a loss before expiry to preserve what capital remains. Company releases positive info pertinent to the companies intentions going forward (which previously couldn't be commented on), investor confidence returns, SP rises, oppies in the money, investors rush to convert, BPH coffers plump with cash to push ahead, investor who sold due to lack of transparency loses huge opportunity when first deciding to invest. Or, company knows the oppies are cooked, investor holds on anyway because they believe what's going on behind closed doors may be positive, it's not, investor loses the entire initial investment as oppies go down the toilet worthless.
Let's have some clarity please DB. "Can't comment" works ok for pollies to the masses, not so well for investors who have put hard earned $$ into the company.
