I am smart in retrospect smile.png I don't believe there was ever a real issue with Barges. The cost of barging went through the roof due to an additional 100 million plus tonnes requiring river transport.
This may have led CKA to delay sales but in retrospect, CKA was not ready to sell coal.
Mining could have been ramped up at any time. Their is nothing special about the mining other than rain.
So in my opinion. it was always the road. Took years to build and then was built to incorrect grades in the belief that it would be good enough.
    It was not good enough!
So at last years AGM the big reset happened and the road is being bought up to specification for inclines and declines. The worst sections are being addressed first and as they are improved, mining is being ramped up.
No sense in ramping up mining if road cannot handle the traffic.

Petrindo are going to use the road and will contribute capital to expedite the upgrading of the road.
Once again, there is nothing special about the road construction. Rain hinders progress, steep inclines have to be cut down and fill place in valleys. JUST A LOT OF WORK.
