''Why is Usman Khawaja allowed to continue saying and doing these things without repercussions?''

    what kind of repercussions?

what kind of a world do you want? - a world where because you choose to be 'something' -

    a cricketer, a footballer, an actor, a doctor, a teacher --------

that you can only talk in public about the area of your employment and that you are bound by rule or law to not be able to speak about anything outside of it - politics included????????

what kind of weirdo bloody world is that you seem to be angling for?

if there is a line to be drawn --------- it should be drawn at people who want to set life rules for others - like weak minded religious freaks who insist that everyone lives by their rules - forcing their bullshit beliefs onto others

wear this, don't eat that, don't drink this, force you kiddy to be at school and read our rules, only be in bed with the kind of people we say or we'll jail you or kill you

you can draw a very bloody big line across those idiots and keep them behind an electric fence

but, normal people going about their normal business-------- should be able to comment on things that aren't attempting to create riot or profane abuse --

it's called freedom - which of course always comes with degrees and hopefully responsibility

but, what you seem to be proposing is about as far from any kind of freedom that one can get
