I was up about $300k on nido petroleum and then i went overseas without selling ... stock dropped and whislt I did not lose my capital I certainly lost most of the gain.
Lesson 1: sell stocks before you go on a holiday unless you have very good reason to hold.
Lesson 2: Always keep a close eye on your portfolio and keep tight stops ... the downside is that trading can become an addiction which it has become for me.
