rathmore, I'd hate to cross-demote stocks on a KAR thread, and besides, perhaps some of my companies are just doing badly- for now- and will improve when the markets improve, or they put out good ANN's, or in some cases, any ANN's at all... I'm sure you get the drift. :) I'm pretty new to shares- only about 5 months worth of "experience", and so am learning how to deal with both gains and losses- same coin, different sides. I prefer M&A deals, but even those don't work out sometimes. I just hope dogs come good, but maybe they never do.

I note that KAR has been mentioned quite often when I've done reading on takeover targets- it's why I developed an interest in the stock. As for now, I wish Karoon holders the best of luck. From the ANN You only have to wait until tomorrow morning until you get some word:

"Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 12 November 2010 or when the announcement is released to the market."
