ok the brits went to the polls and the winner only got about 1/3rd of those who voted ... and it seems that the turnout was 67.3%.. lol lol so the winning team got 1/3rd of two turds - which is not much at all.. but that is democracy (and from watso's reading .. but the jewish lobby was very supportive of english labour ) ..

for what it is worth, but america .. the bastion of democracy (cough cough) is really in the hands of the big doners .. flotus is free to choose the colour of the curtains/bedsheets of the presidential boudoir ..

ok at the end of the day, but iranian democracy is in the hands of the mad mullahs of Tehran (butt their war record pales into insignificance compared to the war record of washington ) .. and contestants have to be approved by the mad mullahs ...

ok turnout for the first round of elections was a paltry 40% .. but there was a choice between a open minded guy.. and a hard liner ..

interestingly, but when watso watched a relevant news segment .. there were plenty of women not wearing a head scarf .. oh, and it seems that the open minded guy (and approved by the mad mullahs) was not too keen on the morality police ...
