Insurance costs will be next, then servicing costs will ne pushed through the roof, regos will continue to be raised etc etc etc.
All to do with limiting the number of options to the everyday average Aussie.
We, the everyday Aussie, will be forced in one way or another into ev's weather we like them, weather they are practical, weather they are affordable etc etc.
Forced into a stranded asset that will be worth sfa at the end of its life.
I've still got a 20 year old ute that I could get $20- $25 k for, brought it new for $30 k.
If it was an ev it would have been trashed years ago.
