    really? I think thats nonsense. our convict past is so long ago, I doubt it has any effect at all on current attitudes.

    fair enough though tarvie.... your opinion. I certainly can't disprove your opinion.

    but as you can see from my Ai post above such stuff is widely spread in every culture... all it takes is a felt need and an opportunity. one of the key drivers of rorting is impoverishment; desperation for the wherewithal to fund ones needs..... whether this be food on the table for children or the need to score the drugs, if theres motive for theft, rorting and fraud. but then theres alas greed as a motivator. and greed too is universal in human nature.

    all these aspects are of course subject to ones own self-discipline. many don't ever acquire such a trait.
