early 2009 i'd been talking with a company regarding a sophisticated placement.
the placement price was around 3cents.
the amount of shares we were looking at was approx 30mm or approx $900K with a few free oppies thrown in.
GFC was still sort of on the table, which in hindsight made me hesitate.
the stock is now well over $1.00 per share.
luckly it wasn't a total loss i did buy a few between 5 cents ~ 7 cents, but only a fraction in regards to the opporunity with the sophisticated placement.
i'm sure you can imagine i'm still kicking myself for not taking up the offer.
