Finland goes from neutral to joining the "safety" of NATO with almost no internal debate or discussion. Joining the club (franchise) sounds good on the surface - headlines: "this is how Finland joining NATO checkmates Russia!". But maybe not so much if you are Finnish.

- now Finland is close to top of the list for first strikes in any major nuclear exchange with NATO (Dr Malinen surmises Stockholm would be the number one target to cripple Nordic NATO countries, Finland number two)
