Thanks heaps for your hard yakka in researching and compiling that hypothetical financial analysis of costs and revenues involved in the Leibherr/Fortescue relationship.

Mate, you asked for thoughts.....I reckon your assumption of the principle of a sliding down scale of cost per truck via the miracle that is economies of scale is spot on.

The 70/30 revenue split may be erring on the overly optimistic side. I was kinda hoping for 80/20, but I hope, obviously, you are closer to the mark! I guess we will have to, difficult as it is, patiently wait for for the next 5 years of Fortescue's ARs to reveal actualities.

One of my tasks for today is going to the newsagent and buy 3 or 4 of those old-fashioned, foolscap, wire-spined exercise books. This will contribute enormously in facilitating comprehension of Fortescue's increasingly diversified activities.Old school, sure, but effective.

One for relationships flow charts, one for financial figures, one for hopes and dreams which emanate from the excellent Team Fortescue, Power!! Department! etc....each time any significant developments and results are announced, (which, amazingly in Fortescue's case seems to be weekly!). into the books they go!

For instance, WTF was the name of that company we partnered up with in western NSW with copper/gold prospecting activities in western NSW? Magmatic or something? Plus, of course,the Alta Copper hookup, operating in Peru, was it? Then of course there's Fortescue Zero, green hydrogen, green iron, green steel, green electrons to Europe, the Gladstone hydrolizer factory etc, etc.... Man, my head's spinning again!

Anyway, I'm off to the newsagent, this plan will illuminate my increasingly challenged brain to keep up to speed with the Fortescue Adventure! , Thanks very much Tony, for being a shining light on this, dare I say it,.... journey!
