GSM signal measures "ferritin, ferroportin, transferrin, divalent metal transporter 1, several gene markers of myelinating oligodendrocytes" ( Cohen Z et al 2024). Claassen called the change "atrophy" what he saw in his BioMuse population to happen in 6 and 12 months. But was it demyelination? He also knows what the ATH434 effect looks like. Is it "remyelination" that should correlate to function? I cannot imagine ferritin, ferroportin, etc relate so well to the volume than myelin.
