I'm all for gap theory however I'm not sure if it will on this occasion. It hasn't closed all gaps in the past which increases the likelihood of not closing again.
I was waiting for it today with an order like many others however the selling wasn't there and ended up pushing high on the close.
As they say - retail open the market and instos close it so it was a nice sight. The next few days will tell the tale.
30c level remains key for the longer term trend. For positive price action we'll need some larger volume days to clear it or a high and tight consolidation around the mark before pushing through.
