Rowan Johnston was a bit laid back I thought (see below) at RRS - change of pace now the company has plenty of money and can take its time I guess.

But I mentioned this presentation from a while ago because you mentioned the assets were worth nothing.. .

He said (around 8:40) they didn' t offer Mertondale or Cardinia E to GMD because they wanted to do more drilling. Mertondale he said they expect to show would be a better fit for Mt. Morgans than low grade stockpiles in GMD mining plan and therefore saleable to GMD. I guess you can expect a fair deal when you are not desperate for money. He mentioned that Kin is in a position to wait until mills meed the ore.

I think the base metals are a bit overblown at this stage... it is one thing to know there are VMS deposits around but they have to find them. The processing solution would be Jaguar I suppose. Jaguar is in C&M I think so I don't think the VMS story is going anywhere soon.

If they can fund Pine Ck into production they would be in a position to wait as long as they like to sell Cardinia E. ... without a mill around Leonora they had to step away to find an income stream so they can offer Cardina E for sale down the track from a position of strength, rather than have the mills just wait until Kin is desperate or vulnerable.

I am not interested in Uranium, but I have heard plausible arguments that there is a structural Uranium shortfall coming and few places in the world that can actually produce yellow cake .. .so maybe there is something in the Uranium deposit ... they are still drilling it anyway.

I tripped over and accidentally bought enough RED and GCY/SPR about 18 months ago to eclipse my so far sad KIN tale, so I can wait for KIN to come good a while longer.

I am assuming they have some announcements planned after the change of name .. it would be a waste to tie any good announcements to KIN ... I am still reasonably confident I will end up in the green with KIN, eventually.

I heard a rumour (from a prospector) KIN had sold Mt. Flora. There was a lot of gold found there over the years with metal detectors.

Same at Iron King, which is more or less in sight of King of the Hills ... again, not helpful for a quarter to quarter exploration company chasing funds, but provided Kin can develop a mine in the NT it can sit on the backburner.

He did say ... I think it was this presentation ... that the purpose of a company is to monetise its assets. Good to hear I thought ... also applies to SPR I hope.
