my understanding us that fbr shares bought / sold on the overseas otc market need to be bought / sold by the broker dealers that keep fbr.asx shares in inventory. If this is the case, and i think it is, buying pressure on the overseas otc market mean that when the asx market opens the next day, the broker/dealers will need to buy in asx to replenish their inventory if stock.

shares in fbr can only be purchased on asx. The shares purchased on otc must first be purchased on asx. Shares don’t appear out of thin air. For an OTC buyer to buy fbr share it needs to be sourced through the asx ultimately.

now this is my understanding but I could definitely be wrong so don’t take my word for it. Do your own research, etc etc…
