Media outlets with a demonstrated history of espousing partisan political lines are not a source from whence I take my investment views. I may as well listen to ABC "journalists".
I'd sooner allow my investment ideas to be formulated by a troupe of monkeys.
As for "fixing the insufficient investment in the supply chain" I'm sure that if that made commercial sense, it would have occurred a long time ago, if not by the incumbents, then by third parties looking to capitalise on the inefficiency arbitrage that is claimed to exist.
Unless Gottliebsen is suggesting the government could force WOW and COL to invest the capital of their shareholders in certain areas of the economy. But that sounds a bit borderline Marxist to me.
