I noticed at Vancouver airport the general store had a number of sleep aid shots. The idea that Kava is completely natural should help it win over alternatives. They should go hard in that space even if they start by selling at cost.
Marketing the coco water Kava may help it cut through any bias against it. I like many others originally believed it had a hard effect. Once people realise it is very mellow and no hangover and unlike pot and other drugs it has a good chance of going mainstream. When it does no one will be able to replicate our supply chains for a long period. Maybe a takeover if becomes more mainstream. If we get to that point it will be 100’s of millions not 10’s. The big guys don’t want to waste time making relationships with farmers. Zane and a few others would be kept on for this if it was to eventuate. Not getting ahead of myself here, just one of many possible outcomes and a long way to go.
The competition in this space is very healthy for us as they are all helping spread awareness of the product. I think they are smart distancing themselves from the stores that sell the harder stuff, can’t remember what it is called but lots in the US. Lots of shops sold Kratom. Not sure if that was the one they were staying clear of or what is does but there is negative info on the US institute of drug abuse. Kava does not get a mention as it is obviously seen as safe. Kava is legal in Canada so there may be a market there after we have got the US and Pacific sorted. Not sure how Europe treats it these days.
