Sorry I don't have any hard evidence to share, but only a hunch with the knowledge about what the US(CIA in particular) does to topple governments and how they can put a populist candidate in another country's office that seeming stands up for democracy but ultimate is controlled by the US, and sets policies that favours the US over their own citizen. I have seen too much, including China (June 4th 1989), HK riot in 2019, the coup that put Zelensky in office for Ukraine. So of thr Eastern Europe countries, the story behind Sadam Hussein and Gaddafi (painted as evil but really being removed through gruesome means simply because they wanted more independence from the USD and tried to build their nation up by not using USD for their natural resources Gold and Oil). Even Australia is not safe from US intervention, there is a group called the Wolverines that has taken key Aus military and paramilitary roles that basically makes calls in favour of the US and not your average Australians. ( Check the YouTube channel under Daniel Dumbrill and his interview with Robert Barwick who is the head is the Aus citizens party).

Let me know if that helps. Again I only have a suspicion not hard evidence.
