From what I read under the scheme scenario I think they have to disclose all their shares in the impending presentation to shareholders to vote on. Don't know when that's coming. This is already in play so I don't see how they can buy more shares themself and backflip via a majority vote wouldn't that be market manipulation because wouldn't they essentially be providing price sensitive news and if you're benefiting from that by buying shares at a discount to takeover in another form surely that's illegal / false advertising? Upon reflection I feel the price might be karma for Aussies bartering the indonesians down on their bintangs all those years.
