That’s great!
How many operational turbines are currently built to withstand typhoon certification?
How many of the currrent turbines are certified to operate in 30 plus knot winds?
I regularly drive past 4 wind factories each week, one is very old, one is about 15 years old and the other 2 are around ten years old.
All of them are shut down as a precautionary measure if the wind goes close to 30 odd knots.
Engineering limitations are just a fact of life, doesn’t matter what you want to believe.
Any wind factory operator with a once of sense will do the same as any other energy generator.
They’ll shut their plant down when faced with adverse weather conditions.
