Jimbo,
fair enough.
All i can say is that its a really long term play, which began about 18mths ago and is due to bring in some cash within about 2yrs.
And about Kos, well, we don't decide his salary, but personally, i am of the opinion that he has made all the inroads for the company thus far and is almost solely responsible for the company to be gradually inching closer and closer to the its game - which is a lot of work and a lot of imbedded value for the company on if observed and calculated over a long-term.
There are quite a few consideration that need to be approached when looking at who brings what value to the company. Its not as simple as some make it out to be.
And to make an instantaneous appraisal of the ratio for
Personal-Salary:Coldry-Commercialisation,
really does seem to me to be an impractical approach, but that is only my view.
As far as i am concerned, it is certain members of the board who i believe don't deserve their remuneration.
So often the spotlight is cast Kos' way, which isn't a rational approach IMO unless you account for the positives he has brought with his skill. I feel so strongly about this that i can't even entertain that he isn't worth the best package the company can afford.
Many micro investors seem to complain most often about their questions not being provided with answers. Their questions are legitimate, albeit at times mere whining after investing IMO due to not having a clear picture about ESI and its various long term plays.
In order to strengthen these particular investors appreciation of where the company is at, this is my main consideration - It's people other than Kos who sit on the board who need to be put under the microscope due to their lack of contribution;
the apparently pointless duplicate of skill that they bring to the company when such skill already exists;
and the lack of certainty that the board as a whole offers investors by way of not providing free-flowing and regular announcements at times when the market is needing answers to tons of finer details than its getting.
You see, if it is the case, no matter how much he might like to, Kos can't just release what he wants, because that privilege rests entirely with the board.
So IMO, the weak link that is allowing the market to feel a lack of sureness, is wholly contained within the board.
And i would like to vote certain member off at the next AGM for this reason, but what use is one small investor voice?
Cheers
