The majors creek area has a long history of gold mining with reefs running in a roughly nnw direction for miles up an down the coast. Araluen used to have a lot of aluvial gold that shed off those reefs that was plundered back in the 1800's. There are also a lot of old mine shafts to the east of the majors creek area. Upshot is there could be potential, but at what depth, and what possibility of it being on our leasehold?
