That 'rally' barely counts as noise, it didn't even match the previous Friday's high.
Obviously if you're short right now, you're expecting the next update to be bad. If you weren't expecting that you'd already have closed your position. Of course, holders have high hopes for production and want to see the shorters burn. High expectations are dangerous; they set the market up for a worse crash when the expectations aren't met. We've seen the cheer squad here ridicule and scorn the shorters since they started taking big positions in 2022, but we've seen who has been laughing loudest.
Incidentally, JZ still hasn't responded to my last email. I've sent him a fair few over the last few years and he has never taken this long before, even if it has been around reporting time etc.
